Warsaw, 27th of January 2017

Dear Members of Executive Council Dear National Coordinators

Dear National Sections Chairpersons

During the General Assembly of Executive Council, which took place in Warsaw on January

15 2017, the set of "ICC Guidelines" was adopted.

I am very proud to announce this. The adoption of this document is a milestone for ICCs, a crucial and highly motivating moment in the history of the program. I would like on this occasion to emphasize the contribution made by Past Chairs Gianni Jandolo and Anton Polsterer for which I am most grateful. I believe that the formai agreed-upon regulations will heip ail of us in many aspects:

To better define, clarify and document our mission, our activities, our initiatives, our responsibilities

To set the proper structure and organization to achieve the results of a serious uniform contribution to peace and international understanding

The position of our key resources , i.e. National Coordinators and National Section Chairpersons, will be more understandable, therefore stronger in countries and districts.

Important data regarding our activities and structure worldwide will be properly updated, clarified and made more reliable.

Now that we have accomplished this much needed step-forward, our next and immediate challenge is implementation, from which I expect a solid return in terms of an improvement of the quality of our activities and of our image, Association-wide.

The first task regarding the implementation of the Guidelines 2017, will be the

Individual National Coordinators' Validation Process. Therefore I would like to ask National Coordinators to provide requested data to the Secretary General and the Services Manager before March 31st, 2017.

Should you National Coordinators need any assistance in this regard, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will make sure your enquiries or specific matters will be promptly addressed.

Let me also add that the translation of the "Guidelines" into national languages and presentation during country annual ICC seminars and/or meetings will be mostly useful and very appreciated.

Last and not least, I inform that the General Assembly agreed that the annual District fee starting with current RY 2016-2017, will be 150 Euro.

Attached please find the final version of adopted "ICC Guidelines 2017".

looking forward to meeting you at the Convention in Atlanta,

With kind regards

Andrzej LUDEK
